The new initiative by the non-profit organization I LIVE FOR ME for 2024-2025, "Hair That Inspires: Stories of Courage," is dedicated to the moving stories of bravery and resilience written every day by people living with cancer and chronic illnesses. Through their experiences, they teach us how inner strength can transform even the most challenging moments into sources of inspiration and hope. 

As part of this initiative, I LIVE FOR ME is launching a targeted action to provide tangible support to women experiencing hair loss, whether due to alopecia or during chemotherapy treatments.  

Currently, the National Organization for Healthcare Services Provision (EOPYY) reimburses 75% of the cost of purchasing a wig for patients. However, this amount often falls short of covering the actual expenses, particularly for women who lack private insurance. Recognizing this gap, I LIVE FOR ME is committed to matching EOPYY's reimbursement, providing an additional subsidy to women who have already received the initial support, ensuring they can cover the remaining cost when the wig’s price exceeds the initial allowance.  

Through this initiative, our goal is to boost the confidence and emotional well-being of women facing these challenges while highlighting their stories of courage as beacons of hope for our society.  

Together, we can make a difference. Because every woman deserves to feel beautiful, strong, and empowered, even in the most demanding moments of her life.
